- MIME has hired an Advocate and took name clearance from the authority of Joint Stock Company and submitted application seeking permission for registration to operate as a mutual insurance company to the Chief Controller of Insurance.
- MIME organized Insurance Organizers’ Best Performance Award Ceremony 2009 at BRAC Centre Inn on January 10, 2010. Executive Director of CODEC Mr. Khurshid Alam PhD. attended the event as the chief guest and Mr. Atiqun Nabi, Executive Director, INAFI Asia and Bangladesh and Chair, MIME Management Committee participated as President and Moderator of the event.
- On January 18, 2010 MIME had its 10th MMC Meeting held at Hotel Aristocrate at Gulshan-1. Few important issues were discussed and decided. Among others the issue of registering MIME as a formal insurance provider got highest priority.
- MIME has printed its third issue of MIME Brief prior to the Insurance Organizers’ Best Performance Award Ceremony 2009.
- MIME printed Claim Bulletin containing claim settlement pictures and information of each PNGO.
